We want to share an update regarding Bluewood’s summer planning and ongoing projects.
As many of you know, maintenance work is already underway on the fleet and the Nickel. We have also continued moving forward on the Skyline Express project and have recently gained access to the remaining lift components currently located in Austria. We are currently working with a shipping company to get those scheduled on a vessel in order to arrive as soon as possible.
At this time, it is still too early to determine whether installation can fully proceed this summer. Until all remaining components arrive and can be fully inspected, there is too much uncertainty to eliminate the risk of impacting the winter season. Our team must have complete confidence that the project can be completed within the timeline available.
In the meantime, groundwork and concrete preparation will continue so the mountain is as ready as possible should shipment timelines improve.
We will continue providing updates throughout the summer as more information becomes available.

Here’s what you can expect from Bluewood as we move forward with the Skyline Express V2 project.
We will continue preparing for the Skyline Express V2 installation while coordinating shipment of the remaining lift components from Austria. Site preparation and concrete work will continue throughout the summer.
Bluewood is moving forward with four new mountain bike trail projects this summer, including routes in Champagne, Green Giant, Tamarack, and Country Road, along with a kids pump track near the EZ Rider 2 area.
Our priority remains protecting reliable winter access while continuing long-term improvements across the mountain. We appreciate everyone’s patience as these projects move forward.
Please read our FAQ’s and if you still have questions or concerns please send an email to info@bluewood.com
Yes. Bluewood will continue moving forward with the project and are currently coordinating shipment of the remaining lift components.
The remaining components have not yet arrived on site and cannot be fully inspected until delivery. Until that process is complete, there is too much uncertainty to guarantee installation within the available timeline.
Concrete work, site preparation, fleet maintenance, and mountain bike trail development are all continuing throughout the summer, along with a few other projects we think you will be stoked for come next winter!
Yes. Additional updates will be shared throughout the summer as more information becomes available.
