SKYLINE EXPRESS Update
UPDATE ON CONSTRUCTION OF SKYLINE EXPRESS V2
Bluewood’s First High-Speed Quad
We want to share some difficult news about the Skyline Express project.
This summer, we had every intention to install Bluewood’s first high-speed quad. However a dispute with the lift broker has held up critical components, and we’ve entered into formal legal action to resolve the issue and secure the remaining components critical for a complete installation.
While most of the infrastructure is already here, and we’ve made major progress on groundwork, this situation has caused our team to miss the installation window for summer 2025. Without the final parts on site, moving forward now would put your entire winter season at risk, a risk we are not willing to take.
The full letter explains the situation in detail, including our plan for installation, what this means for the 2025–26 season, and our commitment to provide every eligible pass-holder with a $100 credit.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Here’s what you can expect from Bluewood as we move forward with the Skyline Express project.
Work Continues
Our crews will continue working to finish tower pads, concrete footings, terminal prep, and more to ensure a seamless installation during the spring of 2026.
Your Season is Secure
Bluewood will be open for a full winter of skiing and riding. Holding off on installation now ensures the mountain is ready for you this season.
$100 Credit for Passholders
As promised, every eligible season passholder will receive a $100 credit this year, usable anywhere on the mountain – food, lessons, gear, and more.
Still Have Questions?
Please read our FAQ’s and if you still have questions or concerns please send an email to info@bluewood.com
How does the $100 Credit Work?
Every 2025–26 season passholder will receive a $100 credit automatically loaded onto their pass at the start of the 25/26 season. This credit can be used anywhere on the mountain for food, gear, lessons, or merchandise. Super Senior Passes and Children 6 and Under do not qualify for credit. Passholders who purchased a family pass product will be given $100 credit for each adult pass and $50 credit for each child.
What if I reserved an Original Skyline Lift Chair for purchase?
We will honor all current reservations and still plan to sell the chairs. Because the existing lift needs to remain in service through the 2025–26 season, chair sales will happen after the lift is dismantled. We’ll share more details about pricing and timing next summer.
What can you share regarding the lawsuit?
Bluewood has taken formal legal action to secure the delayed components. While we cannot share every detail due to the ongoing legal process, we will continue to provide updates on what we are legally allowed to communicate.
What if I haven’t purchased my season pass yet?
You’ll still receive the $100 credit. The credit applies to eligible 2025–26 passholders, whether you’ve already purchased your pass or plan to buy one before the season begins. Super Senior Passes and Children 6 and Under do not qualify for credit. Passholders who purchased a family pass product will be given $100 credit for each adult pass and $50 credit for each child.
