CONDITION NOTES + UPDATES

The wait is over. Bluewood is officially opening, and we’re ready to kick off the season. After a solid storm cycle and a ton of hard work from our crews, the mountain is coming to life and it’s time to get back to making turns.

Thank you to our passholders and community for the patience, support, and snow stoke while we waited for conditions to line up. Lifts are ready, grooming is underway, and another season at Bluewood is officially here. Let’s do this! Bluewood is back!

Opening Date: Monday, December 29th

Still Have Questions?

Please read our FAQ’s and if you still have questions or concerns please send an email to info@bluewood.com

How can I call the Snow Phone?

For a detailed report about current weather and snow conditions, call (509) 240-8991. We typically update the report by 6 a.m. for each day of operation with additional updates as conditions change.

Where do you get your weather data?

We utilize a mix of data provided by NOAA as well as on mountain reporting from our snow stake, and conditions our groomers see each night. To see the latest forecast for Bluewood from the National Weather Service, click here.

Why are the webcams not updating?

Because Bluewood is 100% off-grid, all of our infrastructure is powered by an on-mountain generator system. When the generator isn’t running, which is typical when the mountain is closed or during the off-season, Wi-Fi is offline and our webcams are not powered, so they won’t update. Webcams will only be live when the generator is actively running.
