The Triple Nickel Chair Sale

After close to 40 years of service, it’s time for us to retire the Triple Nickel chairs. With new chairs heading up the lift, the originals are coming down and they’re ready to find their forever homes.

These chairs have carried generations of skiers and riders up the Nickel Bowl. Powder days. Sunny park laps. First chair rides and more. Now you can take home a piece of that history and make it part of your backyard, shop, cabin, or garage setup.

To purchase your chair please stop by Guest Services or click the link starting February 14th.

HOW CAN I PURCHASE A NICKEL CHAIR?

The Chair Sale

Chairs go on sale starting Saturday, February 14th on a first come, first served basis.

There are no reservations or holds. You may either purchase your chair at guest services or online.

Once purchased, we’ll contact you via email when your chair is ready for you to pickup and take home.

Pricing & Delivery

Each chair is $500.

Delivery is available for an additional fee per chair:

  • Dayton — $50

  • Walla Walla — $100

  • Tri-Cities — $175

If you’re outside those areas, transportation will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Why We’re Selling Them

After more than 40 years of service, the Triple Nickel chairs were due for a refresh.

As part of always striving to improve the guest experience, the new chairs will include safety bars and foot rests to provide added comfort and security.

The Nickel is where many skiers and riders take their first chairlift ride and begin progressing on the mountain.

What does this mean for the Triple Nickel lift?

Operations of the Triple Nickel have not been impacted in any way. New chairs are currently being installed, and the lift will continue running as normal once we have an adequate snowpack to open the terrain on the Nickle Bowl.

Can I reserve a chair, to purchase at a later date?

Not at this time. Chairs are being sold strictly first come, first served.

How do I purchase one?

Visit Guest Services or visit the bluewood store starting February 14th. Once purchased, we’ll email you when your chair is ready for pickup.

Can I have mine delivered?

Yes. Delivery is available for an additional fee within select areas (Dayton, Walla Walla, and Tri-Cities). If you are outside of these areas we cannot deliver.

What about the Skyline Chair Sale?

We’re still planning to sell the Skyline chairs. If you previously added your name to the Skyline reservation list, your chair is still reserved. We’ll share more details as that sale approaches, but rest assured—nothing has changed for those on the list.
